Symonds Yat is a village in the Forest of Dean and a popular tourist destination, straddling the River Wye (seen snaking silkily along above) within a few miles of the Welsh border. This is the view from Symonds Yat Rock (Lady Haddon on flickr)
I am slightly obsessed with this river… I have witnessed its beauty first hand, and spend most of my time wishing I was back there. Wales is AMAZING.
